Marine Gate Valve
A marine gate valve is a shut-off valve specially designed for piping systems on ships and offshore platforms. It opens or closes pipelines by lifting and lowering the gate plate, and is only used for full opening or full closing, not for flow regulation.

It mainly consists of valve body, gate plate, valve stem, valve seat and handwheel/actuator. It is divided into rising stem and non-rising stem types.
